Finally, a Web Redo for Us Too!

Sometime along about 1996 or 1997, our clients started becoming interested in having us develop an internet presence for them. The first thing we did was our homework. Some of that included developing an inhouse capability to create web sites. Logically, we used ourselves as guinnea pigs, and developed our own web site. It was mundane, but at the time, it was considered to be on the leading edge. We then began developing sites for various clients. Currently, those sites utilize the best of the web 2.0 technology and design. Then for the past several years, we've been saying that we needed to bring our site up to date. Our clients have not minded so long as their sites were fresh and generated results. So, we have continually back-burnered our own site. Not only that, every time we would get started on our own site, we would end up going around in circles as we made an effort to include all the latest and greatest.

Finally, we realized that was not the best approach to a redevelopment of our site. We decided that our site just needed to be clean and let the examples of our work display our expertise. We also realized that our site should be able to easily grow and develop as our offerings and technology did. Who knows what will make the most sense two or three years from now.

So we have begun that development. We feel we have a clean and simple look that is in keeping with the design brief. For the moment, you will find pages using the old design and pages using the new design. As quickly as possible, we will bring all the pages within the new look, but our clients' needs come first, just as they always have. Hopefully, now that we are moving forward, it will not take us as long to finish as it has taken us to get started. But, you never know.
